The Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) has been named an Excellence Awardee in the Australian HR Awards 2023, These awards recognise the achievements of Human Resources professionals, teams, and employers at a national level. 

AFCA was announced as an Excellence Awardee today in two categories:  

The Employer of Choice (Public Sector & NFP) award recognises the best public sector or not-for-profit organisation to work for in Australia, and is judged on leadership, engagement, communication and employee benefits. 

The Best Leadership Development Program award recognises excellence and innovation in leadership development programs and initiatives, and is judged on consultation, strategy, implementation and results. 

Over the last 12 months, AFCA has delivered a number of initiatives, including refining AFCA’s learning and leadership development programs, launching AFCA’s Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging strategy and making significant improvements to leave entitlements.  

AFCA congratulates the other shortlisted awardees and looks forward to attending the Australian HR Awards 2023 gala dinner on 1 September 2023, where the winners will be announced.
