AFCA has published two new factsheets for financial firms and consumers: self-managed superannuation fund (SMSF) complaints, and family court proceedings.

The SMSF complaints factsheet provides information about who can bring a complaint to AFCA about their SMSF, who is the correct complainant in different circumstances and information for those who are considering winding up their SMSF.

The family court proceedings factsheet outlines how AFCA deals with complaints by consumers who say their financial firm enabled wrongful conduct by their ex-partner, where there has been a family law settlement.
